Committees
The Hanns Martin Schleyer Foundation is a foundation under private law. It serves exclusively and directly charitable purposes. The aim of the foundation is to promote science. The conceptual and operational work of the Foundation is in the hands of the management. The statutory bodies of the Foundation are the Board of Trustees and the Executive Committee.
Executive Committee
As the legal representative of the Foundation, the Executive Committee decides on the administration and use of the Foundation’s funds. As a rule, it meets once a year. The Executive Board appoints the management.

The Board of Trustees has an advisory and supervisory function. Its members represent well-known large companies and economic, scientific and societal institutions that support the Schleyer Foundation – and in some cases have done so since its establishment.
