Higher Education Policy

Since 2001, when the first symposium tackled the theme of “How to design top universities?”, the Schleyer Foundation’s University Symposia have become a recognised forum for the future development of tertiary education. The symposia address current issues of higher education policy and provide input and stimulus for public debate. These encounters between young researchers, learned academics and experienced practitioners from many different disciplines, from university management, from business, politics and the media, never fail to promote a climate of discussion brimming with new ideas.
