Two-day meetings of selected students with experts from business, government, civil society and the media. On the agenda are practical issues of topical interest. Held annually, these extramural seminars are attended by some 30 participants and chaired by a university lecturer.
The seminars offer undergraduates ideas and encouragement for their academic education and vocational choices. This encounter with experienced practitioners from their fields provides participants with new experiences and contacts which are all too rare in the normal university routine.
The Schleyer Foundation also organises similar seminars jointly with the Heinz Nixdorf Foundation as part of the Universitas Programme, with the Robert Bosch Foundation and with the Cologne Educational Endowment and Scholarship Fund.
The seminars are not open to the public. No applications to attend can be considered.
